Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ebonox, a WordPress plugin, and any related websites, dashboards, or services (together, the "Service") provided by Xenovia LLC ("Xenovia," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered at 1207 Delaware Ave #2485, Wilmington, DE 19806, United States. By downloading, installing, activating, or using Ebonox, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, purchasing a license, or installing Ebonox on a WordPress site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent, and that you accept these Terms in full.

2. The service

Ebonox is a plugin for WordPress that automatically translates website content into additional languages, provides a language-switching widget, and offers related tools for managing multilingual content. We may add, modify, or remove features of the Service over time to improve reliability, security, or functionality.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and license keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@ebonox.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Licenses & site limits

Each Ebonox plan is licensed for use on a specified number of active websites, as described on our pricing page. Installing or activating Ebonox on more sites than your plan allows may result in features being limited until you upgrade or deactivate a site. Licenses are non-transferable except as permitted through your account dashboard.

5. Payment & renewal

Paid plans are billed annually in advance, in U.S. dollars, unless otherwise stated at checkout. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your license will renew automatically at the then-current price for your plan. You can view, change, or cancel your plan at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting contact@ebonox.com. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the Ebonox codebase outside of a licensed installation; (b) use the Service to translate or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful; (c) attempt to circumvent site-count limits, licensing checks, or usage restrictions; or (d) use the Service in a way that disrupts or overburdens our infrastructure.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the content on your WordPress site. By using Ebonox, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of generating and delivering translations to you. We do not claim ownership of your original or translated content.

8. Intellectual property

Ebonox, including its code, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Xenovia LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your license grants you the right to use the plugin on the number of sites permitted by your plan; it does not transfer ownership of the software to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your license at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or if continued access poses a security or operational risk. Upon termination, your site will continue to function normally, but translated content will no longer be updated.

10. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep translations accurate and the Service reliable, we do not guarantee that translations will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xenovia LLC's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
